Introduction
This course is for you if you are an existing Supervisor or First Line Manager. 

As an existing manager/supervisor this course offers you the theory to support your existing knowledge and help you to get the management techniques to motivate and manage your team.  In the current economic climate, gaining qualifications and building on your existing skills will offer you opportunity long term.

About this qualification
This qualification comes in three sizes ( Award, Certificate and Diploma) all made up of units of learning, each with its own credit value, how difficult it is and how long it will take to complete.

Award: = 6 credits (20-60 hrs of learning) complete one unit and attend two evenings of training, complete set assignments or exercises.

Certificate: = 13 credits (45-130 hrs of learning) complete two or 3 units and attend four -six evenings of training, complete set assignments or exercises

Diploma: = 42+ credits (140 - 420 hrs of learning) complete all seven units, and complete set assignments or exercises.

We will register you with CMI (this fee is included in the cost).  Once you are a registered member you will receive your log-in details allowing you access to their resources.

What will be expected of you?
To get the most from this course, you will be expected to attend all classes and fully participate in all activities.  Studying in your own time is also advised to help you absorb and understand the various theory elements and how they fit into the day-to-day work routine.

Assessments
Your progress will be assessed through exercises and assignments to ensure you are making the progress necessary to complete the units.
