A Faculty dedicated to higher level learning
Our Faculty of Higher Education and Professional Studies consolidates all our higher level provision, as we believe that a coherent approach to Higher Education engenders an appropriate and professional learning environment and a distinct HE culture. This is reflected in the both the quality of our curriculum offer and the distinct educational experience afforded to our students.
University accreditation
At the heart of our curriculum is our HNC, HND and Foundation degree provision. All these qualifications are run in partnership with reputable universities, and are available in a variety of subjects in the construction, engineering, and information technology fields.
Professional qualifications
Our professional studies include management, accountancy, and a range of teacher training courses. We also offer a range of Access to Higher Education courses, which prepare learners for progression to university. Subjects include Social Studies with Psychology, Care, Performing Arts, Media, and Science. In addition, we are one of the country’s main providers of interpreting courses, leading to the Institute of Linguists Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) in a variety of languages.
