About EFL
EFL at the College is a long-established centre for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language, offering courses in General English at all levels from Intermediate to Advanced. We do not run Beginners classes.

Accreditation
EFL is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK, the national organisation of accredited English teaching. At our last British Council inspection (2007) we were awarded points of excellence for:

• the proportion of highly qualified teachers
• the Learning Resources Centre

Qualifications
All courses lead to the following recognised international Cambridge qualifications: FCE, CAE and IELTS.

You may join a course at any time, but it is best to start at the beginning of term.

Student Profile: Princewill Sunday, Nigeria

Youngest of 12 children, Princewill Sunday always planned to be an engineer, but at secondary school in Nigeria he originally wanted to study petrochemicals. Then he found he preferred electronics.

He joined his eldest sister in UK, and is now completing his second year of a BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the College while working in Tesco. He has an unconditional place at Westminster University to study Electronics and Computer Engineering.

Princewill, 22, is also a Student Union Vice-President. He says: "This College is one of the best in engineering subjects. Courses are practical and the equipment is good."
